Is a Performance Company Right for You?

Updated: Mar 28, 2019

Do you dream of joining a professional company or dancing on Broadway? Are you looking at colleges that have dance programs and scholarships? Are you ready to take your dance technique to the next level? Do you want to take your dance education more seriously?

Most importantly: do you love performing? The Studio Dansu Dance Company is the place for you!

The company is a new comprehensive program for already dedicated dancers and students looking to take their dancing to new heights. This program will work as a bridge to prepare more serious students for a career in performing arts. The purpose of this company is to give students a high-quality education in multiple dance genres to create the most well-rounded dancer possible.

If you’re wondering if this is for you, let us help—the Dansu Dance Company is for any student who wants to take their education to the next level. This program is a fantastic opportunity and dancers will have a lot of fun, but it will also be a lot of work. You will be expected to work hard and be dedicated to the company. We put in a lot of work to move you forward, but most of that work has to come from you, also.

Being a part of a dance company provides many benefits outside of technique. These include, but are not limited to: work ethic, increased confidence, time-management, teamwork and sportsmanship. When we say we are shaping well-rounded dancers, we truly mean it! Involving yourself in an intensive group setting, such as this, teaches you many skills to carry you in the real world, regardless of if you end up in a dance career or somewhere else.

Our instructors dedicate themselves to ensuring that any student coming through the program will have both the technical skill and personal knowledge to be successful at anything they wish to do in their futures.

We are holding auditions April 6th for the Dansu Dance Company—we hope you consider this incredible experience and join us!
